This policy explains what personal information Northfield Plumbing Ltd collects, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 1 January 2026.
When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you need and any details you choose to share about the job. If we attend your property we also record the work carried out and any photographs needed for our records or your insurer.
Your details are used to respond to your enquiry, schedule and carry out work, issue invoices and guarantee certificates, and keep service records for the duration of our workmanship guarantee. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
We process enquiry information on the basis of legitimate interest in responding to potential customers, and contract performance once work is booked. Gas safety records are retained where we have a legal obligation to do so.
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 12 months. Job records and gas safety documentation are kept for 6 years in line with HMRC and Gas Safe Register requirements.
Under UK GDPR you may request a copy of the data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal obligation to retain it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
